Terms of Use for Only The Truth Bible App

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise accessing or using the Only The Truth Bible App ("the App," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

2. Permitted Use

The App is provided to help you read the Bible (King James Version), study scripture, save personal lessons and notes, track reading streaks, and participate in community features such as fellowship and a Q&A forum.

You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial study and spiritual growth. You may share content through the App's community features in accordance with the rules below.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile (name, username) and to keep it updated.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. The App is designed for ages 4+ for reading; account creation is restricted to users 13 and older, or with parental consent where required by law.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. See our Privacy Policy and the in-app account-deletion option.

4. User-Generated Content

The App lets you create and share content, including:

• Community & Fellowship posts (text, images, scripture references)
• Q&A forum questions and replies
• Saved personal text lessons and notes
• Reactions and comments on posts

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting it in shared community areas, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating those features.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
• Promotes discrimination, violence, or harm against any person or group
• Infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Contains malware, spam, or unsolicited advertising
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation
• Disrupts the normal operation of the App or its community

We may remove content and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion and without notice.

Zero-Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

Only The Truth Bible App has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Users may not post, send, upload, or share content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or otherwise objectionable, and users may not engage in abusive behavior toward others.

Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users using the in-app reporting and blocking tools.

Reported content and users may be reviewed and may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent removal from the app.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access another user's account, bookmarks, highlights, notes, or private messages
• Use the App to send unsolicited messages or to harass other members
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying data of the App
• Interfere with or overload the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the App in a way that exceeds normal personal use

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, lesson structures, and software, is owned by Only The Truth and its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Scripture text is provided from the public-domain King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.

User content remains the property of its creator as described in Section 4. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish material from the App outside the App except for content you own or that is clearly authorized for sharing.

7. Third-Party Content & Links

The App may display or link to third-party content, services, or external websites (such as video providers and app stores). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any scripture reference, lesson, or community content is accurate, complete, or doctrinally correct.

The App is a study aid. Any teaching, lesson, or community opinion reflects its author and not necessarily Only The Truth. You are encouraged to verify all teaching against the scriptures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Only The Truth and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the App or any feature. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends, and your content may be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Information

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
